This online course in research integrity covers practical issues affecting your research, and provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your research skills. The course will also help you fulfil your obligations under the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research.
To receive your completion certificate you will need to do two things:
- Complete the course materials
- Complete the quiz.
Who has to complete this training?
- All staff involved in research, research management, or research support including, for example, academic researchers, lab assistants, research assistants, supervisors of HDRs, and research managers.
- All HDR students who have enrolled since 1 January 2017
Instructions for staff
QUT staff involved in research, research management, or research support, are required to complete this training.
Staff should go to the staff RIO Blackboard site and complete the course, using staff log-in credentials.
The Blackboard site includes a quiz. You need a score of 80% (or better) on the quiz to receive your completion certificate.
If you have any trouble self-enrolling, please email OREI with your username and we will manually enrol you. There are some noted Blackboard issues involving self-enrolment. Please ignore any "access denied" message, and attempt to enrol using the green "plus sign" on the left hand side.
Instructions for HDR students
All HDR students enrolled after the 1st January 2017 are required to complete this training. Students should go to the student RIO Blackboard site and complete the course, using their student log-in details. It's important that you are not logged in with your staff credentials, if you have both.
